A day of sport and festivities that brings together more than a hundred players in an exceptional atmosphere
The “Costa San Miguel Christmas Tournament 2025” celebrated its first edition last Saturday at Golf del Sur with remarkable success in participation, an exceptional atmosphere and a day marked by the sporting spirit and the Christmas celebration.
More than 115 players – including locals, international residents and visitors – completed the 18-hole course in Individual Stableford format , enjoying a course in excellent condition and a schedule full of complementary experiences.
A day full of experiences.- From early morning, participants were welcomed at the official Costa San Miguel stand , where they enjoyed a special breakfast, participated in the Christmas photocall and enjoyed music and special collaborations.
Throughout the course, several holes featured sponsored stations, adding dynamism, a personal touch, and a festive atmosphere to the competition. The longest drive and closest-to-the-hole challenges generated considerable excitement among the players.
Prizes, performances, music, raffle and toast.- After completing the 18 holes, attendees enjoyed a cocktail lunch, acrobatics and live music that served as a prelude to the awards ceremony, special raffles and Christmas toast.
Laura Paiz, the Tourism Councillor of the San Miguel de Abona Town Hall, highlighted the importance of the tournament in strengthening the image of the municipality as a golf destination, and thanked the players, sponsors and collaborators for their involvement.
