The general management of Golf del Sur, aware of the limitation of natural resources, especially the scarcity of water in the Canary Islands, and of the environmental impacts associated with the development of our activity, considered in 2004 the implementation of the UNE environmental management system -EN ISO 14.001.

At the time we not only configured our environmental policy, we also appointed a specific person in charge, thus committing ourselves to the periodic review of our activity, products and services, always checking compliance with our policy and applying continuous improvement as a result of its implementation.

Aware of the importance of maintaining our environment and the value of the landscape where the field is located, we have developed an environmental management system that prevents the negative impacts associated with our activity, striving to optimize consumption. Our facilities and services must always be conceived taking into account the objective of optimizing the sustainability of the field, preventing pollution and minimizing negative impacts, criteria to be taken into account in all present and future developments.

We are aware of the impacts generated by our golf course, which is why our goal is to improve sustainable management, assuming the commitment to continuous improvement in all areas of sustainability: social, economic and environmental, always with the aim of increasing satisfaction. the client’s.

In the same way, we acquired the commitment to comply with all legal or other requirements applicable in environmental matters to the golf course.

Our approach must be characterized by objectivity, acquiring the commitment to make all Golf del Sur personnel aware of the principles contained in this document, which is delivered to them.

This policy will be reviewed every year and will be adapted to the realities of Golf del Sur, the sport of golf and the destination in which it is located.
